What is Limen?
Limen (n.) — the threshold. The point where one state of being ends and another, unknown, begins.
It looks like an ordinary key — corroded, ornate, resting on a plinth in a hallway that shouldn't be able to fold the way it does. The image glitches. The room repeats. Ten frames, looping forever, refusing to resolve into anywhere real.
$LIMEN is what happens when that transmission gets minted on-chain. No utility promised, no roadmap to a "real product" — just a key, a community standing at the edge of it, and a door that hasn't opened yet.

It was not lost.
It was waiting.
On a maintenance frequency that shouldn't still exist, something started broadcasting. Ten frames, looping: a hallway of concrete and falling light, and at the center of it — a key. Ornate. Corroded. Waiting on a plinth like it had been waiting for a very long time.
The pillars of light in the loop aren't windows. Nobody who has studied the signal has found what's behind them. Every attempt to trace the transmission back to its source loops instead — a hallway of mirrors with no exit. A threshold. A limen. It only opens for whoever is holding the key.
We didn't find the key. The key found a wallet. Now it's yours to carry, trade, or lose in the halls with everyone else who came looking for a door that may not want to be found.
